Founded in 1999 by President Brian Fons, EPI has grown to become the leading hazardous waste removal and spill response contractor in Maine. Today our headquarters includes a large material and equipment warehouse, maintenance facility, and our state of the art hazardous waste transfer facility. Brian has been in the hazardous waste business since 1991 and has extensive knowledge and experience as field chemist & project manager on both remediation and emergency response projects. He founded EPI in April of 1999.
Nick has been in the hazardous waste business since 1992. His experience involves spill response and remediation projects of all sizes. Nick manages the day to day operations of EPI and supervises field personnel.
Charlie has worked in the industry for more than 20 years. His experience ranges from industrial services to Brownfields remediation. Charlie's primary responsibility is field management of emergency responses and remediation projects.
Jeremy came to EPI with a background in geology, GIS and water resources. Prior to joining EPI he also owned his own renovation/construction business. Jeremy manages response and field projects.
Dave has been an environmental scientist and Geoprobe® operator since the 1970s, working on geotechnical and hazardous waste remediation projects. He performs soil, gas, and groundwater sampling to support our client's investigation projects.
Brett started at EPI as a field chemist and has advanced to his current position as Disposal Manager. He oversees EPI's hazardous waste transfer facility and disposal operations including labpacks, household hazardous waste collections and waste disposal.
Rachael joined EPI with extensive business and sales experience. Her responsibilites are split between compliance and developing new client relationships. Rachael is also involved with preparing EPI marketing materials and preparing information for proposal submittals.
Lisa has been with EPI since 2007 and manages the office, benefits and bookkeeping. We are pretty certain that despite having a successful career as a dancer on Broadway, she much prefers the hazardous waste industry!
