This year we were able to send a friend of ours, a Russian living here in Maine, to Ekaterinburg, Russia. He was able to visit Children's Home #5 and the summer camp the children attend. His visit was to evaluate a renovation project for next summer that we will be assisting with at the Home. Peter also purchased paint and supplies for repainting projects that the home can now complete. We sent him well stocked with socks, underwear and treats for the 54 children at the home. A big THANK YOU to Peter G. for making the trip, and Katya K. for assiting with in-country travel and living arrangements.
